Tinymodel Sonny is a model who was born without arms or legs. He tells his story of overcoming adversity and shows off his modeling skills. Sonny's modeling career began in 2011, when he signed to Elite Model Management, after being scouted at the age of 18 by an agent at a Tokyo fashion event. He also said that he received more than 1,000 responses to an audition video for "America's Next Top Model"--and was invited to take part in the show before it even aired because producers were so impressed with him. "I'm not just 'a guy with no limbs,' I really want people to see me as beautiful. I have a lot of dreams. I want to show off my looks and work on some cool advertisements. …Tinymodel Sonny, the model with no arms or legs, can do anything." However, after posting photos of himself on his blog, he was accused of having photoshopped his picture (despite the fact that he has posted similar pictures on different occasions). The photos were printed on billboards across Japan, and he even got an audition call from Madonna's publicist. However, there were also some who claimed that he had Photoshop'd his image. He got an offer to return to Japan for a photo shoot with a Japanese magazine, and his fans were in awe of his transformation. Sonny has also appeared in "GQ" magazine, and was featured on the music video of Japanese pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki's single "I Believe," which caused a stir when it was revealed that he is her real-life boyfriend. In December 2012, he competed in the Chinese "FaceMasters" beauty pageant, finishing in third place. He is certified as a life model based on natural abilities and determined by international standards. In 2011, Sonny was featured in a GQ Magazine piece titled "The Best Boy Without Limbs." It was about his journey to become a life model. Tinymodel Sonny won the 2013 Guinness World Records for the most filmed selfies in one minute with 10,000 people. On October 28, 2014 it was announced that he would be competing in Cycle 22 of "America's Next Top Model", Cycle 24 of "I Can Make You Thin", Cycle 21 of "Waifu Race" and Cycle 24 of "FaceMasters". He placed 3rd overall in America's Next Top Model. On November 11, 2014 it was announced that he would be modeling in the 2015 edition of Fashion China Fashion Week. Sonny was the winner of China's 2015 FaceMasters, and was featured in several fashion magazines and websites. He also appeared on the cover of CJ Life magazine's September 2015 issue, as well as many other large magazine such as "Men's Health", "Universe" and others. In early 2016, Sonny was cast to play a claymation model in Rocket Studio's "The Little Mermaid" alongside Christine Lakin (Belle) and Harley Edwards (Sea Witch).
